PURPOSE: To provide a receiving rest by which a protective function for a floor surface is enhanced when it is installed on furniture or the like and a smooth movement of a kind of furniture is guaranteed and which is excellent in durability.

CONSTITUTION: A receiving rest 40 for a kind of furniture has an easily deformable receiving seat 20 which is easily deformed by receiving load reaction from a floor surface and absorbs a shock and does not separate and is not broken off to an applied load while forming a smooth projecting curved surface toward the contact surface side with the floor surface when it is used by being installed on a leg of a kind of furniture and a bottom surface of a load support member, and is formed in a structure that the receiving seat 20 is completely and integrally joined by a nail element 10 to be fastened to and installed in a load support part of a kind of furniture and a molding intermediate seat 30 of a symthetic resin material.
