Title:
RECEIVING SHEET FOR THERMALLY TRANSFERRED DYE IMAGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03120091
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance higher antistatic property, by providing a receiving layer for thermally transferred dye images which comprises a dyeable resin soluble in an organic solvent and a cationic acrylic resin conductor as main constituents and has a specified surface resistivity.

CONSTITUTION: A sheet form base and a receiving layer thereon for thermally transferred dye images are provided, the receiving layer comprising a dyeable resin soluble in an organic solvent and a cationic acrylic resin conductor as main constituents and having a surface resistivity of not more than 1011Ω.cm under the conditions of 20°C and 50% RH are formed. In order to control the surface resistivity under the conditions of 20°C and 50% RH to or below 1011Ω.cm, it is preferable to use the acrylic resin in an amount of 0.01-10 pts.wt., preferably 0.1-2 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. of the dyeable resin. As a result, antistatic property is enhanced, and property for running in a printer is stabilized.
