Abstract:

PURPOSE: To automatically sort a reproducible bottles from bottles which can not be reproduced, by a method wherein a device is provided with two or more types of inspecting functions and an assorting assembly which assorts the bottles which are decided to be poor into two or more different poor receptacle groups.

CONSTITUTION: An empty bottle is inspected at an inspecting position A by a bottle bottom inspecting part 19 and a residual water inspecting part 20, and a poor bottle is conveyed to a reject region. In case, in a bottle bottom inspecting process, the bottle is decided to be poor, if a valve 5 reaches a position B where a reject solenoid 6 is installed, the valve 5, pushed upward at the position B by a plunger 7 with a solenoid 6 actuated, is not reset also at a position C where a solenoid 8 is mounted. The valve 5 is conveyed to a position where a reset cam 4 is set, the valve 5 is depressed by the cam 4 to release a poor bottle 10 and feed it to a D line of a reject region 2. Meanwhile, a poor bottle having residual water is assorted and fed into an E line of the reject region 2, and this causes the poor bottle 10 to be automatically calssified by an inspecting function.
