Abstract:
To provide a receptacle for ensuring electrical safety when nothing is inserted into both outlets and when an object is inserted into one of the outlets without providing a door.SOLUTION: A receptacle includes a first switch and a second switch that are provided in a pair of outlets corresponding to a pair of blades included in a plug, and switch from off to on when both of the pair of blades are inserted into the pair of outlets, and a first relay circuit and a second relay circuit that are both energized with a power supply when both the first switch and the second switch are switched on, and when one of the first switch and the second switch remains off and the other of the first switch and the second switch is switched from off to on, one of the first relay circuit and the second relay circuit corresponding to the other of the first switch and the second switch is not energized with a power supply, and the other of the first relay circuit and the second relay circuit corresponding to one of the first switch and the second switch is energized with the power supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
