PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception auxiliary device capable of improving indoor sensitivity of receiving broadcasting for portable terminals, without needs of outdoor or window-side installation of an external reception antenna and connection of a portable terminal thereto.SOLUTION: A reception auxiliary device used for receiving a broadcast wave for portable terminals comprises a substrate that can be attached to a back surface of a portable terminal. The substrate includes a reception antenna, a reception amplifier and an electrode. The reception antenna is connected to an input terminal of the reception amplifier, and an output terminal of the reception amplifier is connected to the electrode. Further, when the substrate is attached to the portable terminal, a position of the electrode is adjusted to a position where the electrode and a terminal built-in antenna as a reception antenna built inside the portable terminal are coupled by electromagnetic field coupling.
