This reception system is provided with: a reception means for receiving broadcast data associated with a plurality of broadcast programs; an image processing means for outputting image data associated with the broadcast data received by the receiving means to a display device; a designation means for designating one image to be printed from image data displayed on a display device; and a communication means for outputting program specification information including specific service information for specifying a broadcast program which is being displayed on the display device and positional information for specifying the position of one designated picture in the broadcast program through a network to a predetermined external device associated with the broadcasting processing of the broadcast program, and for inputting image data for print of one designated picture from the external device in response to the designation of the designating means.
