PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recess formation device which is suitable for performing proper packaging to a prescribed medicine.SOLUTION: A recess formation device comprises: a recess formation part 13 comprising plural molding tools for forming recesses for storing a medicine on a container film, in which volumes of the recesses formed by the respective molding tools are different from each other; a prescription data reception part 21 for receiving prescription data including information related to the prescription; a molding tool identification part 22 for identifying the molding tool which is used on the recess formation part 13, based on the prescription data received by the prescription data reception part 21; and a molding tool notification part 23 for notifying of the molding tool identified by the molding tool identification part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
