To provide a recharge method which eliminates the need for a filter assembly like a filter or a screen in a recharge well where clogging is not avoidable, and by which the ground water is surely returned without draining even when the amount of pumped water is large.
The recharge method is that a level of the ground water at a required place 1 is lowered by pumping up the ground water from the pumping well 2 and the pumped ground water is poured back into the ground through the recharge well. In the recharge method, a shallow layer part recharge well 3a in which a water pouring part 4 is positioned in the shallow layer part and a deep layer part recharge well 3b in which the water pouring part 4 is positioned in the deep layer part are installed as the recharge wells. The water is poured from the shallow layer part recharge well 3a under a low pressure and from the deep layer part recharge well 3b under a high pressure, whereby the ground water is returned.
