Abstract:
To provide a reciprocal cutting tool capable of stably switching at least one of the presence or absence and the extent of orbital motion.SOLUTION: A reciprocating saw serving as the reciprocal cutting tool comprises: a rod-like slider 6 that is moved back and forth in a cross direction; a blade holding part disposed at the front end of the slider 6; an orbital mechanism 12 for causing the blade holding unit to make vertical orbital motion along with the reciprocating motion of the slider 6; and an orbital switching mechanism 14 for switching the orbital state of the orbital mechanism 12. The orbital switching mechanism 14 includes a lever body 172 that extends in a horizontal direction. The lever body 172 has a first plane 176 that can indirectly support the slider 6. The first plane 176 has a first part 176a which is a part before the virtual center axis C of the lever body 172 in the horizontal direction, and a second part 176b which is a part after the center axis C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
