Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a reciprocating compressor by preventing radial protrusion of the cylinder of a compressor body.
CONSTITUTION: The crank case 22 of a compressor body 21 is disposed such that its mounting seat part 22C is pointed to the right oblique lower side (the right side support leg 2 side) and a cylinder 23 is mounted on the mounting seat part 22C such that the cylinder is stretched toward the support leg 2 side. Thus, the tip side (a cylinder head 25) of the cylinder 23 can be contained in the installation space of the support leg 2 and a cylinder head 25 alone is prevented from protrusion from the outside diameter of an air tank 1.
