Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently convert reciprocating motion to rotating motion with simple structure.
SOLUTION: In this converting apparatus, a first rotating body 10 having a gravity center G1 different from the center of rotation O is disposed on a structure 14 rotatably in one direction, a second rotating body 15 having a gravity center G2 different from the center of rotation O is rotatably mounted on the first rotating body 10, and the first and second rotating bodies 10 and 15 are connected to each other through a spring member 17. When the structure is reciprocatingly moved, the first and second rotating bodies 10 and 15 are formed so that the rotational forces produced because the gravity centers G1 and G2 are different from the center of rotation O acts on each other through the spring member 17 and the first rotating body 10 is rotated in one direction integrally with the second rotating body 15.
