Title:
RECIPROCATING PISTON MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2933895
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge pressure in a compression chamber in a short time after a reciprocating piston machine stops by providing a valve plate or a valve tongue piece on a discharge side and/or a suction side with at least one capillary passage as a pressure discharge connection part.
SOLUTION: Valve plates 13, 14 of valves 9, 10 have capillary passages 18, 19 as pressure discharge connection parts so that a pump 1 can be restarted without load by reducing pressure which is left in a compression chamber 6 or vacuum when a diaphragm 1 stops. In this case, the capillary passage means a connection passage having comparatively and extremely small and close passage cross section. Although a certain degree of flow speed has to be generated first to form a return stream of gas, there is enough time for forming a gas stream which passes the capillary passages 18, 19 because the valves 9, 10 are closed after a reciprocating piston machine is shut off. Conseqeuntly, pressure compensation for environmental surrounding pressure is done in the compression chamber 6 in a short time, and the restart that the diaphragm 1 follows can be done without load.
