PURPOSE: To enable the miniaturization of a reciprocating power generating device by properly combining an electromagnet, a moving body having a permanent magnet, and a control switch part, and to obtain a miniature track turnout capable of building in the track bed of a railroad model by connecting the moving body with a point switching piece.
CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating power generating device 1 has an electromagnet 5 formed of a nearly U-shaped magnetic core 3 made of magnet and a coil 4 wound on the magnetic core 3, a DC power source part 6 sending a direct current to the coil 4, a power switch 7, a control switch part 8 controlling the continuity state from the DC power source part 6 to the coil 4, and a moving body 9 disposed between the magnetic poles 5A, 5B disposed opposite to each other in such a manner as to be capable of reciprocating. A track turnout 20 is formed by burying the essential part of the reciprocating power generating device 1 in the exclusive track bed for point in a railroad model and connecting a mounting piece 2 protruded from the moving body 9 with a pair of point switching valves 23A, 23B on a line 21. A coupler for railroad model is formed by loading the reciprocating power generating device 1 in a model vehicle and connecting its moving body 9 with a joint hook of the model vehicle.
