Abstract:
To provide a technique contributed to improvement in ease of use of a reciprocating tool.SOLUTION: A reciprocating tool 1 comprises a housing 11, a support 13, a slider 5, a motor, a drive mechanism 4, a first energization member 71, a manual operation member and a second changeover mechanism. The housing 11 has a first axis which defines a front-rear direction of the reciprocating tool. The support 13 is supported by the housing 11. The slider 5 is so supported by the support 13 in a linearly movable manner. The drive mechanism 4 is operatively connected to the slider 5, and reciprocates the slider 5 with respect to the support 13 by power of the motor. The first changeover mechanism is operatively connected to the manual operation member, and selectively enables or disables energization of the slider 5 by the first energization member 71 according to a manual operation of the manual operation member. The first energization member energizes the slider 5 downward when energization is enabled by the first changeover mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
