Abstract:
To provide a technique for improving a clamp mechanism of a reciprocating tool.SOLUTION: A reciprocating tool comprises a housing, a first cylindrical member, a slider, a second cylindrical member, and a lock member. The first cylindrical member can rotate about a first axis, and has a single first projection projecting inward in a diametrical direction. The second cylindrical member can rotate about a second axis and has a single second projection projecting outward in the diametrical direction. In a circumferential direction, the second cylindrical member has a projecting portion that projects outward in the diametrical direction, and permits the movement of the lock member from a lock position to an unlock position. The first projection engages with the second projection in a process where the first cylindrical member rotates from a first position to a second position, and rotates the second cylindrical member from an engaging position to a disengaging position. The first projection permits the rotation of the second cylindrical member without engaging with the second projection, when the first cylindrical member is at the first position. The second projection is provided at a part different from the projection portion of the second cylindrical member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
