Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating tool which easily ensure a good seal property, while having a mechanism preventing a reciprocated rod from moving in other directions except for a reciprocating direction.SOLUTION: A reciprocating saw 1 as a reciprocating toll includes: a motor; a power transmission mechanism 4 which converts rotations of the motor into reciprocating movement; a rod 6 which is connected to the power transmission mechanism 4, and is reciprocated; a gear housing which includes a gear housing left portion 20a, and in which the power transmission mechanism 4 is disposed; an upper roller 82 and a lower roller 83 which can roll and have contact part capable of contacting with the rod 6; and a seal member 124 which has an inside ring 134 contacting with the rod 6. Two of the upper roller 82 and the lower roller 83 are provided, and disposed on upper and lower sides so as to oppose to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
