Abstract:
PURPOSE: To conform the moving direction of a piston to the lengthwise direction of an air tank so as to reduce vibration, arrange a drive source in the center of the air tank so as to improve stability, and arrange a pair of cylinders in the horizontal direction so as to improve weight balance.
CONSTITUTION: A compressor main body 8 is constituted of a pair of cylinders 8a and pistons 8b, and each piston reciprocatingly driven through a crank mechanism 4 is slidably assembled in each cylinder 8a. A discharge passage 9 communicated into an air tank 1 is integratedly provided on the extreme end part of the cylinder, and the compressor main body and a motor 3 are detachably assembled together to the air tank by means of bolts through a mount. A discharge reed valve 10a is provided on the extreme end of the cylinder, a discharge port 10 communicated to the discharge passage 9 and a suction port 11 provided with a suction reed valve 11a on the extreme end of the piston are respectively provided, and further a check valve 12 is fitted to the extreme end of the discharge passage 9.
