To provide a new and creative conveyor for particulate materials in which a seal and bearings can be dispensed with, and the bearings having a mode of a sheet of a self-lubricating plastic bearing material can be used instead of the individual bearings for the movable conveyor member.

A plurality of long conveyor tubes 28 are juxtaposedly arranged inside a material vessel 10 so as to provide an empty space among the conveyor tubes 28. A driving mechanism DM for reciprocating the conveyor tubes 28 is connected to the end parts of the respective conveyor tubes 28. The driving mechanism DM acts to move the conveyor tubes 28 to one direction for moving the material situated above the conveyor tubes 28 and also situated among the conveyor tubes, and also acts to retract the conveyor tubes 28 to the reverse direction.
