PURPOSE: To prevent the reckless driving under the travelling condition by comprising an actuator for forcedly actuating a select lever so as to set the speed in the neutral position and a judging means for judging the reckless condition of a vehicle and a driving means for outputting a signal to drive the actuator.

CONSTITUTION: When a neutral pedal is operated, a judging means 141 outputs the signal of H level, and when the acceleration computed from a signal of a speed sensor 15 exceeds the reference acceleration, an acceleration judging means 143 outputs the signal of H level, and when a throttle totally enclosed judging means 144 is totally closed with the signal from an idle switch 16, the throttle totally enclosed judging means 144 outputs the signal of H level respectively. When these output signals are given to an and gate 145 and all of them is H level, the signal of H level is given to an actuator driving means 17so as to drive an actuator 6. Thereby, a select lever 1 is forcedly set in the neutral position so as to cut off the power transmission to the wheel and the reckless driving under the travelling condition is prevented.
