Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reclaim a recorded medium to a level free from surface stain at a low cost by impregnating a releasing liquid in a recorded medium, pressing a releasing member to the medium to effect the transfer of the recorded image and removing the releasing member from the medium.
CONSTITUTION: A releasing liquid is impregnated in a recorded medium having printed image, a releasing member is pressed against the recorded medium to effect the transfer of the ink from the recorded medium to the releasing member and the releasing member is removed from the medium to complete the reclamation of the recorded medium. The releasing liquid preferably contains ≥70wt.% of (A) water, (B) ethanol or a mixture of A and B and further contains (C) a surfactant and/or (D) a polymer compound soluble in the above solvents.
