The reclining bed (1) with a back bottom (9) that supports the back region of a person lying in a supine position and that can be raised and lowered, and a lumbar pressure section (14) is formed in the back bottom (9) so as to project from the upper surface of the back bottom (9) and apply pressure to the lumbar region of the person lying in a supine position. Moreover, the back bottom (9) and the lumbar pressure section (14) are interlocked and coupled via an interlock mechanism (26). Furthermore, the state of the interlock mechanism (26) can be changed between an interlocked state in which the back bottom (9) and the lumbar pressure section (14) are interlocked and coupled and a released state in which the interlock between the back bottom (9) and the lumbar pressure section (14) is released.
