Abstract:
To provide a reclining device capable of restraining rattling of a seat back even when a large load is input to a seat cushion frame.SOLUTION: A reclining mechanism of a reclining device includes: a first gear connected to one side of a seat back frame or a seat cushion frame and having internal teeth; a second gear which is connected to the other side, has external teeth engageable with the internal teeth, and is eccentrically rotatable relative to the first gear; a driving pin which is connected to a driving source, is partially inserted into a first central hole formed in one of the first gear or the second gear, and is rotatably supported; a ring-like intermediate member positioned such that its inner circumferential side encloses the driving pin and its outer circumferential side is in contact with a second central hole formed in the other of the first gear or the second gear; a pair of wedge members arranged between the driving pin and the intermediate member and being of a shape capable of driving a wedge in a separating direction along an inner circumferential surface of the intermediate member; and an energization member for energizing the pair of wedge members in the separating direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
