To provide a reclining mechanism for a baby car in which unexpected formation of a reclining condition can be avoided when excessive force is applied.

For forming a reclining condition of seat back part 117 from a raised condition, a lock release knob 159 of a head rest 113 is taken, a lower member 143 is slided upward against energization force of a spring to form a condition in which the head rest 131 and a pipe frame 119 are turnable to each other, and the head rest 131 is turned forward to be inclined. By this way, a lower end of the pipe frame 119 is lifted from the lock part 131 to release a second lock. The seat back part 117 is thus turned for the first time to form the reclining condition.
