To provide a recoilless polisher and a recoilless polishing method for readily sharpening a clam-shell formed blade of scissors for hairdressing used for hairdressing and beauty service, while keeping a shape of the clam-shell formed blade by even a nonexpert, in which a worn polishing surface is easily replaced with a new one.

This polisher is provided with the polishing surface, at least one film-like rectangular polishing member with flexibility, a handle member detachably attached to one end of the film-like rectangular polishing member and a locking member detachably attached to the other end of the film-like rectangular polishing member. The locking member is locked with a locked part, and by pulling the handle member, the polishing surface of the film-like rectangular polishing member is flattened and tensile force is applied. The polishing surface flattened and given the tensile force is pressed down with the clam-shell formed blade and the clam-shell formed blade is slid in parallel with the polishing surface. Thus the clam-shell formed blade is polished, while keeping the shape of the blade.
