Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a new DNA sequence useful for the isolation of a recombinant protein having an N-carbamoyl sarcosine amidohydrolase activity and its use for determining the content of creatinine.
CONSTITUTION: This recombinant DNA has a sequence of the formula. The recombinant DNA is obtained by cloning an Arthrobacter DNA fragment in a host cell, especially E. coli, and subsequently directly selecting the obtained clones with respect to the expression of the gene.
