To provide the subject new DNA vector composed of plasmid p97b existing in E.coli deposited under No.53403 at the ATCC and useful e.g. for a vaccine preparation having immune response causing selective breakage of melanoma cell.
This new recombinant DNA vector is composed of plasmid p97b existing in Escherichia coil integrated with a gene coding for melanoma associated p97 antigen and deposited under No.53430 at the ATCC. It is useful e.g. as a vaccine preparation having immune response causing selective breakage of melanoma cello. The recombinant DNA vector can be prepared by preparing a polysome from melanoma cell by magnesium precipitation, separating mRNA, synthesizing a cDNA by using the mRNA as a template, treating with restriction enzyme, using for transformation, selecting a strain containing a DNA coding for the p91 antigen by screening, recovering the DNA and integrating the DNA in a vector.
