PURPOSE: To shorten the construction period for the reconstruction of a shielding body, reduce the waste concrete quantity and the dust generation quantity, and prevent the radioactive exposure on a worker.
CONSTITUTION: A cut shielding part 10 which is integrally formed is cut from a shielding body 6 through the remote operation, and the cut shielding part 10 is transferred to a temporary place, and its surrounding is covered by a green house. In the green house, the concrete 27 on the cut surface 16 of the cut shielding part 10 is breakage-removed by a static breaking agent 26, and iron frames 24 are exposed. The cut shielding part 10 is suspension-transferred to close an opened port part 19, and the iron frame 24 of the cut shielding part 10 and the iron frames 28 of the opened port part 19 of the shielding body 6 are connected, and concrete 27 is laid into the connection part between the cut shielding part 10 and the opened port part 19 of the shielding body 6, and noncontracted concrete is filled.
