Title:
RECORD PLAYER DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5555474
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a player where tunes can be played dependently upon a preset program, by discriminating the sound groove part and the non-sound groove part of a record in a reflection photoelectric detector and providing a magnetic recording means which stores pitches of them.

CONSTITUTION: When a light beam is irradiated from light source 4 to the disc surface of record 2 and the reflection light is received by photoelectric converter 5, the electric signal for the non-sound groove part is larger than that for the sound groove part. This photoelectric output is used as a control signal for automatic tune selection. The output of converter 5 is shaped into a square wave by waveform shaping circuit 11, and the output of oscillator circuit 13 is converted to an AC intermittent wave corresponding to the square wave by switching circuit 12. This intermittent wave signal is stored in magnetic recording material 16 by magnetic head 15, so that the tune order and the inter-tune pitch of the disc record are stored surely, and a record player where playing dependent upon tune preset is possible can be obtained.
