PURPOSE: To attain a magnetic record reader capable of efficiently reading out the contents of a medium in which plural different magnetic records and page information are stored in respect to a record processor for reading out magnetic records recorded on a medium.
CONSTITUTION: The processor having a magnetic recording part and a magagine-like medium 7 for recording page information indicating respective pages is characteristically provided with a magnetic recording part 1 for reading out information recorded in the magnetic recording part, a page reading/ recognizing part 2 for reading out the page information and recognizing each page, and a control part 4 for controlling at least the reading or recognizing processing of page information based upon the information read out from the magnetic recording part by the reading part 1.
