Abstract:

PURPOSE: To considerably reduce the degradation in the S/N of a regenerative signal along with the increase of recording density by providing with a vibration transmitting member as a resonating means arranged on a feedback path and provided with a resonance point at a frequency adjacent to a resonance frequency.

CONSTITUTION: The resonator of a double humped characteristic provided with the resonating point at two adjacent resonance frequencies is formed in the state with first and second body structures 62 and 11 integrated by previously adjusting the joining method of the first and second body structures 62 and 11 in the shape of a cantilever. Therefore, when the gradient of force acted on a probe 63 is increased, the oscillation frequency of a positive feedback loop is shifted infinitesimally to a low frequency and oscillation is suppressed, but the resonance frequency is transferred to the other hump as the adjusted result of the above mentioned joining method. Thus, since the shapes, dimensions and other combination of the cantilever constituting the first body structure 62 and the structure body are properly set, the oscillation frequency to be obtained by the resonance of the second body structure 11 is almost constant even when the gradient of force acted on the probe 63 is further increased in the same direction.
