Abstract:

To increase display information being informed to a user by determining the operating state at a specified section when depression of a switch is designated and varying the brightness of a display means.

A decision is made whether a current switch on flag is 0 or not by depressing a power switch (step 1) and if it is 0, brightness of an LED to be lighted is increased for a predetermined time before ending the process (step 2). If a decision is made that the current switch on flag is not 0, i.e., the power switch is depressed to be turned off, the LED is lighted normally with normal brightness before ending the process (step 3) thus increasing display information being informed to a user.
