Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace only a recording head in which a fault occurs and to accurately position the head in a head holder in the case of discovering the fault of the head after a head unit is assembled. SOLUTION: Recording heads 2a to 2d are respectively adhesively fixed to intermediate members 4a to 4d mounted by screw clamping in a head holder 3. Thus, even when a fault is discovered at the heads 2a to 2d after a head unit 3 is assembled, only the head in which the fault occurs and intermediate member are removed, then new intermediate member 4 is mounted in the holder 3, and then the new head 2 can be adhered to the member 4a in the state that an ink jet nozzle is matched to that of the other head.
