Abstract:
To provide a recorder which can carry out correct recording also immediately after the apparatus is powered on or also immediately after an error recovery, for example, when a medium with a built-in tag and a medium without a tag are mixedly used, and to provide a recording control method.
When recording is carried out to a recording medium which includes the tag capable of inputting/outputting information by radio, the presence of the tag is checked. The recording medium which includes the confirmed tag is conveyed to a recording start position of a writing means which writes information to the tag and of a recording means which records an image to a surface of the recording medium.
