The recorder 10 records various types of measurement data inputted from the outside and has a historical trend mode display function, capable of scrolling a waveform display region 11a in a time-base direction dot by dot for displaying measured waveforms in the recorded measurement data. The recorder 10 is provided with both a mode switch/release means 12a for switching from historical trend mode to scroll-bar selection mode for selecting a scroll bar displayed on the waveform display region 11a, and a display control means 14b for controlling the display of the measured waveforms displayed on the waveform display region 11a, in such a way as to be scrolled in units of the display region of the waveform display region 11a in the time-base direction by the scroll bar at scroll-bar selection mode.
