To achieve a recorder which can reduce the occurrence of nozzle clogging caused by foreign substances such as paper dust and dust floating in an internal space of the recorder without installing a gas suction means such as a pump.
A filter 21 reciprocates in a width direction X in the space where an ink mist 21 floats when a carriage 61 reciprocates in the width direction X, whereby the floating ink mist adheres. The foreign substances such as paper dust and dust floating in the internal space of the inkjet printer 50 are absorbed in the ink mist adherent to the filter 21 and are caught. The foreign substances such as paper dust and dust floating in the internal space of the inkjet printer 50 can be removed before adhering to a head surface of a recording head 62. The foreign substances such as paper dust and dust caught by the filter 21 are held by the filter 21 when the ink mist absorbing the foreign substances such as paper dust and dust is solidified.
