A recorder for recording input data comprises: a print recording part for recording data input in the recorder to a print recording medium by a printing mechanism; an electronic recording part for recording the data input in the recorder to an electronic recording medium as electronic information; a power supply part for supplying power to the print recording part and the electronic recording part; switching means provided in the power supply part for switching power supply destinations; and a power storage part for performing power supply to the print recording part and/or the electronic recording part when power supply from the outside to the recorder is stopped.
