Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more appropriately bring a medium receiving tray into a projecting state.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a housing comprising recording means performing recording onto a medium therein; a medium receiving tray 28 displaceable between a first position where being housed in the housing and a second position where projecting from the housing and receiving the medium discharged; and a guide 70 guiding the medium receiving tray in a displacement direction. The medium receiving tray comprises a guided part guided by the guide. The guide has: a first guide region S1 where guiding the guided part while the medium receiving tray is reaching a third position short of the second position from the first position; a second guide region S2 where guiding the guided part while the medium receiving tray is reaching the second position from the third position. The second guide region comprises a narrowing region making movement passages of an upstream side area and a downstream side area of the guided part narrower than movement passages in the first guide area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
