Abstract:

To provide a recorder which has a simple structure and yet is able to detect opening or closing of an openable case with high reliability.SOLUTION: A recorder of the invention includes: an openable case 110 which can be in a closed state in which the openable case 110 closes a recording paper storage part and an open state in which the openable case 110 exposes the recording paper storage part; a rotary member 310 which rotates in conjunction with opening or closing operation of the openable case 110; and an openable sensor 400 which converts movement of the rotary member 310 in a rotation direction into movement in a rotation radial direction and pushes in a push-in switch 402 to detect opening or closing of the openable case 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
