Title:
RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3344460
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lateral running in comparatively simple structure, by arranging a plurality of protrusions and recesses at the tip of a transversal rib which are continuous triangular trenches or semicircular or angular trenches formed at equal intervals.
SOLUTION: Protrusions and recesses, i.e., triangular trenches 10 in practice which have about 0.5 mm height and 1 mm pitch are arranged at the tip of a transversal rib. The triangular trenches 10 function as mechanism for preventing generation of continuous capillarity in the state that recording paper is in contact with the transversal rib 4c. When a solid writing state and a high humidity state overlap each other in the driving state of the recorder, warp of paper is generated, and the transversal rib 4c comes into contact with the paper, it does not happen that ink which has been not yet dried in the solid writing part permeates into the outside of recording region on account of capillarity. As to the form of protrusions and recesses, the triangular trenches 10 are not limited but semicircular or angular trenches can be used. The pitch is so set that lateral running can be prevented.
