Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure temporal continuity of video recording contents (including voice contents) recorded on a disk to the utmost.
SOLUTION: In the case of replacing a disk and an idle capacity of a buffer memory is small, write of sound data takes precedence over other jobs. That is, the data rate of compressed animation data to be written to the buffer memory is decreased. Moreover, when the idle capacity of the buffer memory is much more smaller, the data are switched to compressed still image data and when the idle capacity is smaller furthermore, the write of the compressed image data is stopped and only the sound data are written.
