Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a movable belt thoroughly with a simple configuration in a recording device that has a transport mechanism for transporting a recording medium placed on the movable belt.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a transport mechanism 3 for transporting a recording medium P placed on a movable belt 10; a recording head 7 for recording on the recording medium P; a cleaning mechanism 15 that is for cleaning the movable belt 10 and has a first cleaning unit 13 having plural first cleaning rollers 12 linked in a rotation axis direction D; and a cleaning mechanism 25 that is for cleaning the first cleaning unit 13 and has a second cleaning unit 22 having plural second rollers 21 linked with a direction parallel to the rotation axis direction D as a direction of rotation axis. Further, the cleaning mechanism 25 for the first cleaning unit 13 is disposed so that the second cleaning roller 21 is in contact with a linking part S1 of a set of the plural first cleaning rollers 12.
