Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a good looking record even if recorder use conditions are worse than that specified by blowing air against a surface of a recording sheet by a blower when a temperature in the vicinity of a recording unit is determined to be within a range where nk spreading may occur. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 21 for detecting a temperature in the vicinity of a recording unit is provided, while an output signal of the temperature sensor 21 is processed in an analog signal input unit 22 which is a function of a recorder main body. A blower 24 with a blower pipe 25 oriented to blow air against the surface to be recorded of a recording sheet 15 is placed.When a control unit 23 judges the temperature in the vicinity of the recording unit which is detected by the temperature sensor 21 to be in a range where ink spreading may occur which has been calculated from a feed speed of the recording sheet 15, air is blown by the blower 24 against the surface of the recording sheet 15. Thus time required for the ink to be dry is shortened, thereby preventing occurrence of stains of the record.
