Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable reduction in the width of a recording head and a smaller size by setting a cartridge pen having a plurality of pen points on a cartridge holding member which is arranged on a freely mobile slide member. CONSTITUTION:Now when a recording pen point 23B of a cartridge 20 is positioned right on a recording line, as a solenoid 18 for recording is driven, a cartridge holding member 17 is attracted with the solenoid 18 and turned counterclockwise centered on a shaft 16 against a spring 24 to press the pen point 23B on a recording paper 2, which achieves a dot recording in ink color contained in a fibrous material 22B. Then, a color change solenoid 14 is driven to move a pen point 23A on the recording line with the right movement of a slide member 13. Then, when the solenoid 18 is driven to turn the holding member 17, the pen point 23A is pressed onto the paper 2. Thus, a dot recording is performed in ink color contained in a fibrous material 22A. In other words, a double-color dot recording is accomplished with one pen 20.
