PURPOSE: To read a value of each point of the title recorder easily and with relative accuracy by writing the fine graduation lines for a gage to read a value between the ruled lines with the recording of a waveform of a signal to be measured and the ruled lines with coarse intervals for displaying a level at the same time.
CONSTITUTION: When an analog signal to be measured is added to a recorder main body 5 via an input terminal T, an input amplifying means 6 amplifies and outputs it to an A/D conversion means 7. This means 7 converts the signal into a digital signal and sends it out to a data input and ouptut controlling means 8. The means 8 has a waveform storing means 9 hold the waveform data of the signal temporarily and these waveform data and the ruled line position data for displaying the level stored in advance in a ruled line position storing means 10 are taken out with the prescribed timing respectively and sent out to a recording means 11. Further, a gradua tion line write indicating means 12 for the gage commands the means 8 to read the graduation line position data from a graduation position storing means 13 for the gage to send these to the means 11. This means 11 writes the waveform data and the ruled line position data from the means 8, and the graduation lines for the gage by a command of the means 12 in recording paper.
