PURPOSE: To obtain a simple recording apparatus having a high printing speed and requiring no heating element by providing one or more set of current and magnetic field supply means allowing electromagnetic interaction force due to a current and a magnetic field to act on the recording liquid of a liquid passage and emitting the recording liquid from an emitting orifice.
CONSTITUTION: A recording head 10 is constituted of the liquid passage 1 communicating with an emitting orifice 1a for emitting a recording liquid in a predetermined direction, an electrode 2 for supplying a current to the recording liquid 6 in the liquid passage 1 and magnetic field supply means 3 respectively arranged in the direction right-angled to the electrode direction and the liquid passage direction. The recording liquid 6 is supplied to the liquid passage 1 from a recording liquid supply part 4 through a supply pipe 5. Next, a recording apparatus inputs a recording data signal to a signal processing means 8 and the recording data signal is converted to a pulse signal by the signal processing means 8 and a current is directly supplied to the recording liquid in a preset magnetic field to generate electromagnetic acting force and the recording liquid is emitted to be recorded on a recording member 9.
