Abstract:
PURPOSE: To record a character or image of high image quality enhanced in fixing properties regardless of the kind of recording paper in hot-melt transfer recording.
CONSTITUTION: Cleaning oil is supplied to an intermediate transfer medium 11 while an ink ribbon cassette is moved and ink is transferred to the intermediate transfer medium 11 from an ink ribbon and, next, the intermediate transfer medium 11 and recording paper 3 are superposed one upon another to be pressed and heated to transfer the ink to the recording paper 3.
