PURPOSE: To validify a recording body by encoding information, and improve the reliability.
CONSTITUTION: A system 10 have an encoder 12 and a recognizing means 14, and the encoder 12 prepares a recording body 16. The superposition of a photograph becomes the encoding of data in a two dimensional pattern 18. The two dimensional pattern 18 is read by the recognizing means 14, and an output signal to express the data which is encoded into the pattern 18 is emitted. A processing means 24 encodes a set of data into the two dimensional pattern 18, and emits a transfer driving signal which controls an indicator transfer to the recording body 16. A transfer means 26 transmits the image of the two dimensional pattern 18 to the recording body 16, by responding to the transfer driving signal. The recognizing means 14 converts the image on the recording body 16 into an electric signal to express the graphic mark, and decodes the electric signal into a decoder output signal by a decoder 30.
