Abstract:
To provide a recording device capable of reducing an error in estimating a residual amount of a roll sheet.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises a setting part where information about a roll sheet having a recording sheet wound is set by a user, a calculation part for calculating an estimated value of a residual amount of the roll sheet based on the information set by the setting part, an acquisition part for acquiring a correction value for correcting the estimated value based on a discrepancy between the estimated value of the residual amount of the roll sheet calculated by the calculation part and an actual residual amount of the roll sheet, a storage part for storing the correction value, and a reset part for resetting the correction value stored in the storage part when the information about the roll sheet is changed by the setting part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
