Abstract:
To provide a recording device preventing a dark part color gamut of a color reproduction region from becoming narrow.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises determination means for determining, when using fluorescent ink to record an image, the order of recording with the fluorescent ink and recording with light-emission suppression ink suppressing light emission of fluorescent ink for each of a plurality of scans. The determination means determines the order of the recording with the fluorescent ink and the recording with the light-emission suppression ink so that the fluorescent ink forms a layer below the light-emission suppression ink in a dark part region of the image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 28
