Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which can remove dirt of a conveyance belt generated by paper jam or the like, and can improve durability of the conveyance belt.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a recording part which discharges ink and records on a paper; a conveyance belt 51 which can convey the paper by circulating; a cleaning member 91 which removes dirt of a belt surface by contacting with the belt surface 51a of the conveyance belt; a cleaning member moving part which moves the cleaning member between a contact position for contacting with the belt surface of the conveyance belt and a separate position for separating from the belt surface of the conveyance belt; and a dirt estimating part which estimates the dirt of the conveyance belt. When the dirt estimating part estimates that the conveyance belt is dirty, the cleaning member moving part moves the cleaning member from the separate position to the contact position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
